iNTRODUCTION:

Home Economics in Longstone School is taught by Mrs McCreadie, to all pupils from Years 8 through to Year 12. Mrs McCreadie is assisted by classroom assistants in the practical preparation.

Many of the receipes used in class have been put into a Cookbook and hosted on-line on this website, so you can try your hand at creating some of the tasty dishes produced by our pupils in HE.

In the last number of years we have had great success in the 'Young Cook of the Year' competitions, reaching the finals on numberous occasions.
